SMS Terms of Service
These terms govern your participation in the McAllen Insurance Group text messaging program.
Last Updated: June 1, 2026These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) govern your participation in the text messaging program operated by McAllen Insurance Group LLC (“McAllen Insurance Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms.
If you do not agree, do not opt in, or reply STOP to any message you receive from us.
These SMS Terms supplement our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
The McAllen Insurance Group SMS program delivers recurring text messages to customers and prospects who have opted in. Message content may include:
- Quote follow-ups and reminders to complete an insurance application
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Policy updates, payment reminders, renewal notices, and document requests
- Promotional offers and information about auto, home, life, health, and Medicare insurance products
- Tax preparation appointment reminders and document checklists (for tax clients)
- Customer service responses to inquiries you send to us
Messages are sent from our toll-free number +1 (855) 674-1966 and may be sent using automated technology, including an automatic telephone dialing system as defined by applicable law.
You opt in to receive text messages from McAllen Insurance Group by:
- Submitting our SMS sign-up form with the consent checkbox marked
- Providing your mobile number and express written consent through any other McAllen Insurance Group form, contract, or service agreement that includes SMS opt-in language
- Texting a keyword to our SMS number after seeing a clear opt-in notice
⚠️ Consent is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product, tax service, or other goods or services from McAllen Insurance Group.
You confirm that the mobile number you provide belongs to you and that you are authorized to opt that number in to receive text messages.
Message frequency varies depending on your relationship with us and the messages you have opted in to receive. You may receive several messages per week during active quoting, application, or claim periods, and fewer messages at other times.
Msg & data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, depending on your plan. McAllen Insurance Group does not charge a separate fee for participating in the SMS program. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your plan and any applicable charges.
The SMS program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and others.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
To get help at any time, reply HELP to any text message you receive from us. You may also contact us at (956) 687-3334 or info@mcalleninsurancegroup.com.
✅ To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, and we will not send you further text messages unless you opt back in.
You may also opt out by contacting us directly at (956) 687-3334 or info@mcalleninsurancegroup.com and requesting that we remove your number from the SMS program.
We use the information you provide through the SMS program only to operate the program and to communicate with you about insurance, tax, and related services as described in our Privacy Policy.
📵 Phone numbers and other mobile information collected through the SMS program are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information is shared only with service providers that directly support the SMS program (such as our SMS platform, Twilio), and those providers are contractually limited to using the information for that purpose.
To participate in the SMS program, you must be:
- At least 18 years old
- A resident of the United States
- The authorized user or subscriber of the mobile number you provide
- Capable of entering into legally binding agreements
If you change or deactivate the mobile number you provided to us, you agree to promptly update your information by contacting us at the phone number or email below. You also agree that we are not responsible for messages sent to a number you no longer control if you have not notified us of the change.
The SMS program is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered on time or at all. Delivery is subject to your wireless carrier’s network and policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, McAllen Insurance Group LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and service providers are not liable for any delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages, or for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your participation in the SMS program.
We may modify these SMS Terms at any time by posting the revised terms on our website. Your continued participation in the SMS program after the revised SMS Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. The “Last Updated” date at the top of these SMS Terms indicates when they were last revised.
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these SMS Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hidalgo County, Texas.
